Location Highlights
Detroit offers access to major cultural and waterfront destinations, including the Detroit Riverwalk and Campus Martius Park in the downtown core. The city includes the Detroit Institute of Arts in Midtown and Belle Isle Park, a 982-acre island park about 3 miles from downtown with trails, an aquarium, and river views. For regional travel, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is about 20 miles southwest of downtown, and Windsor, Ontario is directly across the Detroit River via the Ambassador Bridge and Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
