Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tow trucks with precision and adherence to safety protocols to transport vehicles across various locations.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual techniques, ensuring no damage occurs.
• Conduct routine inspections of the tow truck to maintain optimal mechanical condition and identify any repair needs.
• Diagnose basic automotive issues on vehicles requiring towing, utilizing automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
• Manage conflict situations professionally, providing excellent customer service even under challenging circumstances.
• Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and related documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, with a strong understanding of vehicle loading procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when needed.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes, conflict management, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods.
• Prior experience working with tow trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles is highly desirable.
